Roughin' It: Iran

As I mentioned in an earlier post to-day, the Iranians are apparently not as incorrigible as we had made them out to be. That said, the fact that they were pursuing a nuclear weapons program comes as no great surprise: I'd be stocking up on nukes too if I had hundreds of thousands of U.S. soldiers next door led by a trigger-happy cretin of a commander-in-chief. Of course, let's not forget Cheney and Perle's dire pronouncements on the said country.

Anyhow, the White House's take was predictable, and Our Fearless Leader's trying his hardest to spin this into a dubious new casus belli.
